HA! I just saw someone do this today!! It was an old pos Isuzu suv. I was Driving through Malibu and I was at a stoplight. Across the intersection on the right side I heard what sounded like a car crashing. It was the other end of the gas hose snapping into the pump. The car drove to the other end of the parking lot before finally realizing... It was really funny.
