Thank you for the reply. No your first reply did not fall on deaf ear. I appreciated it. While I may rant and rave a little on this forum I certainly treat the dealership and the people that work there with a great deal of respect. I understand that the quality issues are not their fault. But I do appreciate the reminder that you can catch more bees with honey.
I would like to clarify a couple of points. I am talking about a $100k X5M not a 328. The 328 is the loaner they keep giving me. I posted the lemon law purely because I was interested. I would anticipate that BMW would step up long before we got to that point. While I do spend out $100k in cars every two years, it is not always one car or at one dealership. I like different kinds of cars and I move a lot. Certainly kills my leverage.
One thing that has really irked me about this experience is the blasé attitude of the service department. The first time the electronics went dead. They gave the car back explained that they could not find the problem but it was working now. It could be just a regional attitude difference.
