i certainly understand the poor attitudes of the service dept clowns, especially in a case like yours or on my 750Li. they dont see enough of them to have experience with them. and "we dont know whats wrong with your car" dont sound good no matter how creative they choose their words. until your last post i was 100% convinced that the service dept clowns at my BMW store were the biggest idiots out there and sounds like they have the same attitude too. but believe me, the service manager or the general manager can make things better. in my case it took the GM as a buffer between the service manager and myself. coming from someone that knows first hand your frustration believe me when i say "if this is the biggest problem you have, you dont have no problems" a man told me a long time ago, "if hundred dollar bills can fix the problem it just aint a problem."
