Yes, you can use that for your jacking point. The pad I use is oversized and I just try to hit it as close to the middle of the pad as possible. A better point to lift your car is at the front center point of the car. Therefore you can just slide 2 jackstands under the jack points and wont have to drag the jack to the other side when done.
