That sounds Realllllllllllllllly good!

I've been thinking of putting an exhaust on ours and FlowMaster never entered my mind.

I had some FlowMaster mufflers on an old big block Chevy Camaro that I had and they sounded Great! They had the deep tone that you talk about, but I didn't think about them on the X5. The one thing that I don't like about the FlowMasters is that they aren't stainless. To some it might not make a difference, but I like the added piece of mind of having stainless exhaust. I might be crazy, but that's just my opinion.
