Need help.

My wife parked the car, came back to start it 3 hours later. and nothing happenend. Can it drain this fast? the battery is 1 year old.

Tried to charge the battery, but it wont charge. IS the battery broken?
shortcut in the battery?
Also trans. failsafe mod came on, is this due low voltage?

IT is an E53 2004 modell.
