Correct, the problem lies in the fact that my X5 is probably 200kg heavier with all the extra gear and with more electrics, pumps & 20" wheels etc you push harder on the pedal to get it going, the result is worse fuel economy. Each one of my X5's has gotten worse economy than the last and the 40d with my options installed will be no different?
