Would be nice if that was available here / with more oomph than a 20d.
Why not a 23d?
M-Sport looks better but the lights still suck.

It is pretty difficult to take the introductory Euro models and extrapolate what will be offered in North America when the vehicle eventually arrives here.
I would have expected to see a manual transmission 35i, at least in Europe, but sadly our options are likely to continue diminishing over time. By the time the F25 gets to North America, it may be a 23d, but I hope they keep it to four cylinders. BMW did say that four cylinder diesels are coming to North America a few months back. If you are going to promote the diesel as the fuel economy option, it only makes sense to get as much fuel economy as you can out of the model. 184 hp and similar torque as the 35i (just not at the same low revs) makes the 20d a reasonable choice IMO. A manual transmission would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it, as they hardly sell any manual transmissions here now, and the cost of certifying the additional configuration may not be worth it for BMWNA and BMW Canada.
