I do not have an UK card at the moment but I hope both insurance company and DVLA will accept an European Mastercard (Non-UK that is).
The insurance seems to have gone up - the cheapest I could find online was £900 (and they all ask for tracking device).
Do you all guys fit tracking devices before insuring your autos? can anyone recommend a good place to fit a tracker?

No tracker on mine....Car is registered in wifes name and insured in her name with me as main named driver.....Cheaper insurance for birds and discount for significant other .me that is
Also check with your existing insurer cos if its EU it should be valid in UK and therefore enable you to tax .
