I would doubt that any reputable dealer could or would try to make a case for an air filter replacement voiding the warranty in general although over-oiling some filters has been known to cause problems with the air metering and this would not fairly be expected to be covered under warranty. I don't know if even DINAN would cover such misuse of its product under its warranty.
