3M bought VentureShield a few years back (3M had problems with their adhesive early on so bascially bought VentureShield for their adhesive technology...or so this is what my tint guy tells me). These days, they are basically the same product. I have VentureShield on the truck and X5 with no issues so far. Time will tell though.
