The truck is at Brahman BMW in Ft. Lauderdale. I think it went the the high line auction today, the guy really wanted me to buy yesterday, but I was still uncertain. 
One thing that does make missing this a little better is a conversation I had with Scott at Dinan today. I asked up upgrades for the 50i TTV8 and he said they have been working on the 750i engine (one and the same) for about a year and are doing final tuning on a dyno right now. He expects it will be ready between 30-60 days. His conservative guess was 100+ HP  given they get 80hp from the N55 3 liter engine...
I would probably be very happy with a 50i with third row seats and 500HP  .

wow i'm surprised Braman had it priced that low, last time i was there their prices were absurd and included ridiculous inflationary additions.
but hey, it wasnt meant to be. I love the 50i, and done right, you can make it look better than the X5M
