I have a 2003 4.4 X5 with 64000 miles on it.

The wife is concerned about the cost of the possible repairs on this vehicle and wants me to buy a new vehicle (2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee for example) which by the way looks very much like the 2003 x5.

Instead of buying a new vehicle I was wondering if it might be more cost effective to get a a bumper to bumper after market warranty to put her at ease of possible future repair cost that may need to be made.

Does anyone think this is a good idea if so, are there any recommendations on a company that has excellence service.
