I cant get an address book up and the R/T button on the steering wheel does nothing. On my old X3 I think it was 10th gen and I could get the address book up and scroll with the buttons.

Voice dialing doesn't really worry me but I would like an address book and increased volume would be nice :-)

Have to disagree about BMW having feature rich bluetooth! It would have to be one of the worst thought out systems ever put in a car.

The best I have seen and which dumps all over the BMW is the RNS510 that VW use. My wife's Golf GTI has it and it is truly awesome and has flawless integration.

All updates are done by firmware and its as simple as burning it to disk and inserting the disk!!

Does voice dialing or the address book need to be switched on by the dealer?
