Hi all,

Picked up an 09 X5 for the family car. sport, prem, running board, nappa dash / seats, pdc, multi contour seats, and a few other goodies. $40,500 13k miles, seemed like a good value. Excellent condition.

Impressions:

Overall I'm pleased with the car, however I'm used to driving an 08 M3 as a DD so I do find the 3.0 lacking in an SUV dont want the V8 however due to the poor fuel economy.

Nappa dash is a nice touch
comfort seats rock
quiet on the highway
still sits high and feels like an suv (which it is of course)
sport pack isnt too harsh, good thing

A few questions:

Is there a way to display the IPOD on the idrive screen? I was pretty bummed when I plugged it in to not see it. It doesnt charge either on my 08 M3 it charges and I can scroll in the idrive.

Fuel economy: what are you guys with the 3.0 getting? On my trip home I got 22.5. I was hoping for a little better but if not I'll take it.

Tires: about how many miles are you getting on the stock bridgestones? Can I get 30k out of these? I'm used to 12k on my M cars
