Argh! Color me stupid. Helps to read all the words that are actually in the post. I was thinking you were questioning $1800 for the 300Ms, not for the 209 wheel/tire takeoffs. I'm sorry I made that mistake.
As for a realistic view of asking $1800 for the 209 day-one take-offs? I found someone who was charging $800 for the same kind of set in December 2009 (on xbimmers).
At $1800, you're going to have to find an E70 owner who is really in love with 209 wheels (18"??), or who
really needs winter wheels/tires now!.
dencoop, I am not doubting your savvy on such matters, as I've seen you go through BMWs like water on another forum, so more power to you if you can eek some nice cash out of them wheels.
