Your dealer should talk to joemor's dealer (who managed to supply and install a hitch on the X5M). Pictures and parts list below.

Has anybody checked whether the X5 hitch fits the X6? And why would they make a hitch for the X5M and not the X6M, when they advertise the towing capability of both vehicles?
