Not only a great location, but I'd be going from literally AT sea level to over 350ft above and well insulated from the hurricanes... wouldn't ever really need to evacuate again as long as our generator keeps burning gas. And the schools there are awesome compared to here.

Was supposed to hear for sure final answer today from the bank holding the papers on the property, but NOTHING YET! They SUCK! God only knows when they will actually get off their asses and make a decision. I don't understand why banks operate like this when there is guaranteed money on the table... they just have no problem putting it off till they feel good and ready. And we have a substantial offer on the table for well over asking price. (almost 30%!!!)
