I understand that in america v. canada there is a more common perception that if you do not cya you will be sued for your negligence, and in some cases this is certainly true. But lets not turn this on the customer. This was not some mistake where his m5 fell off a lift or something. They were inappropriately using his 100k vehicle, subsequently ruined it, and then lied about it. My attitude would be you screw me I crush you without mercy.
