I bought one of those $25 angel eye remote kits on eBay and it works awesome...AE's come on/off dimming with the dome lights and come on immediately once the X is started. Completely worth it.
As for LED's, I installed LED's and resistors into every single bulb that was available for change on the exterior of a customers 750iL. They look great, but I've never been able to stop the flash, which to me is absolutely embarrasing while driving down the road. To this day, once the car is up and running, the left and right blinker flash intermittently, then both reverse lights. I've yet to find a way to shutoff the LKM bulb check to fix this problem.
