Hi all, bad news on my part. My X3 was broken into last night
. A co-worker and I went to a friends house to feed his fish and switch his living room furniture with his bedroom furniture
while he is out of town. I parked directly in front of his building, finished upstairs, then went 2 blocks away to have dinner. When we came back, my rear passenger side window was broken and my co-workers jacket and shoulder bag were gone. Nothing of mine was missing, but he had EVERYTHING in his bag.
Long story short, I guess I need to replace the window. I think the cost is around $95 for the window. I called a dealer near me and the labor rates are $140/hr. Do you guys think this is a diy job that I might be able to handle? My insurance deductible is $500 so I don't think it would be worth it to claim it.
Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Any input would be great.
