He assures me () that the leaked oil will not affect the turbo spools or the exhaust system since it is all "burned off".....We'll see. I also asked him if the seal will start leaking again after another 17k miles, and he said that he believes that it shouldn't since it is now "properly in place"..... Still have 2.5yrs on warranty, so I figure if there will be a problem, it should declare itself before then.....Will probably get extended warranty as well since I plan to keep the d for a loooong time.....

They also reprogrammed the computer system (erased all my presets too), changed the dreaded charge air temp sensor, flushed the brake fluid, and changed the cabin air filter.
Sounds good, time will tell.

May I harp on something?

The seals they replaced seal AIR. They do not seal oil. If the seal is bad, air leaks. Oil CANNOT leak due to THESE seals being bad.

If the turbos (which are oil lubricated) are leaking, they WILL leak into the air stream and eventually the leak can come around the air seals.

Now if they crank these down tight enough, maybe you'll never see any more oil....

Keep an eye on it. Personally I'd pop it off and have a looksee in a few k miles just to check...but you know ard...
