It is supposed to be OBDII compliant, but in the past there were some programming recalls in the states to ensure they communicate correctly... so you may need to have the DDE programmed. (I'm not sure if they had those same recalls in the UK)

However the ABS/DSC lights are going to have faults stored in the DSC module, not the DDE... so the OBD reader won't read the faults in question anyways.
