I agree with the license plate delete. If you don't need a front plate in your state, it really cleans up the front of the car. I added that to my e36 years ago.

CA requires a front plate, but I don't normally run one.
That is what put me in the 7 over a E39 540 touring - the 7 is just such a nice car to drive and I have wanted a proper "Q-ship" long distance highway cruiser for some time now, and this fits the bill perfectly. I have owned 2 each 5 series and 3 series, one each was an M model. And the 7 is a lot more car than any of those cars (well - arguably the E39 M5 was probably the best sports sedan ever made in it's own right). As far as I am concerned it is a major upgrade from the 09 G37 sedan that I sold to open up the garage space for it, despite the fact that the 7 only cost half what the almost new G37 was worth. I know it will cost more to keep on the road, but that's OK with me, plus I can do most of the work on it myself and it's a labor of love to some degree - I don't mind.
