HI,

I really need some help now.

I have a 2004 BMW 330d Saloon with MK4 Satnav built in.

It used to work for a while now. Then recently it started giving me DVD read errors. Then i thought i burn another DVD ( i bought first of them of a site of ther internet with updated speedcams etc )

THe version of the os i was running was v32.

I tried burning annother dvd ( at super low speed - using verbratim dvd+r) a t slow speed no luck.

Now I have the Default menu ( not so funky any more ) basic bmw menu and navigation is missing too. its very basic ( i hope you know what i mean - otherwise i will post some pics )

Ok at this stage i was worried but then reading some forums here and there - i thought i might go down the root of retrying th firmware upgrade or downgrade. I have download since then various V32 customs and originals to try to downgrad / upgrade my mk4 unit to have the nice looking menu screen back.

I have followd the setps to upgrade ; ie. open car door - turn key etc etc.

But my mk4 unit and my satnav screen never shows me any Software upgrades option.

HELP???
