Not a fan huh? It definitely seems the easiest route. Actually, if double DIN would fit in dash w/out cutting the HVAC ductwork I'd do that. That's what I did in my M and I don't want to cut up anything in the X. I like the new Eclipse w/NAV and internal hd. I'm amazed at the difference between this board and the e46fanantics site's stereo forum. I'll have to do some more research. The stock radio is OK, but you lose or don't have a lot of features and flexibilty. I don't have DSP I don't believe...would that have a button like the HK systems in the 3 series?
