will these 18x8.5 wheels fit on our 07 x3 3.0si?
i feel like such a noob asking this question, but i wanna confirm that these wheels will fit:
ARC-8 18x8.5" Wheel
will these wheels fit for sure on our x3?
the sport wheels (style 205) are 18x8 with offset of 46mm. i don't know the center bore, but it is my understanding that all late and current model bmws have the same center bore of 72.6mm.
the wheel is also available in 18x9, 42mm offset.
originally, i had wanted to get fully forged 18s or 19s for the x3. recently, i had to replace the tires and discovered that all 4 of the oem wheels are bent. when we left nc a little over a year ago, the wheels were perfectly round. that amount of time on nj roads has put inner bends in the wheels, which took quite some time to balance properly/safely.
so, i had been looking for 18x8 or a similar size wheel in order to not have to buy another new set of tires....
i came across these wheels b/c they have gotten good reviews on other forums such as m3f. apparently, these wheels, though not forged (they are flow form with roll forged barrels), are very strong.
in any case, i hope someone can confirm whether or not these wheels will fit. tia.
