Bmws Diesels have always been that more smoother and refined than the rest!I remember way back in 1987 when Bmw had the E30 324TD (turbo diesel)that had 115 bhp ,a 6-cylinder engine and was smooth and leader of the pack.Then came the E30 325TDS with 143 bhp which had basically the same engine but was now intercooled.Much later came the 3.0 6L with 184 bhp ,VG Turbo and Common Rail technology as found in the earlier x5 Diesels.
