No, not the right time for me to spend money, as I am changing jobs. I have been following the Cervelo 2011 model release. I think the tapered head tube is as important as the bottom bracket, and I like the asymetric chain stays. Overall, I like the new R3, but there are limited options for the bottom bracket (which is Cervelo-specific) until the component suppliers get the parts into their distribution systems.

I fixed up my Trek, and will make it to 3000 km this summer in the next week or so. Then I will put a new cassette, chainrings, and a chain on it, with new BB bearing cups, and just ride it when the whether is nice for the coming months.

We had the bikes up in the Okanagan wine country a week ago, and on a group ride this past weekend. We hope to get some good fall rides before the rain socks us in.
