GPS still not working
So far these are the ones working on the unit:
1. DVD is playing

2. AUX-In Video works (plugged in my 2nd DVD Player located at the back seat area)

3. USB - stored music works

4. iPod interface is great but a little slow. But still great because you can access everything in the iPod.

5. Radio works both FM and AM

6. TV works - so far I viewed my favorite channels already. A little snowy but I'm sure it's the location.
These are NOT working as they should:
1. GPS - can't get it to work. It's looking for a Garmin GPS and stalls.

2. Bluetooth (Phone) - I can call, I can pair my iphone 3GS and Blackberry Storm 2, but the person on the other end cannot hear my voice! Maybe the MIC is not functioning or there is a setting I haven't discovered.
Scale of 1-10 Happiness level on the Hualingan?
7 as of the moment. If the GPS and Bluetooth will be solved, it will be a
9. I will reserve the reason why I'm not giving it a 10
When I get my Christmas Bonus, I'm gonna try the Dynavin just to compare

Can you take a picture of it? I asked them for an aux mic input a while back when I gave them my feedback. They might have implemented that. They told me that the BT is better on the new units. Can you try that to connect an external mic if you have one or use the iPod to output on it and make a phone call using the BT and see if the other end hears the iPod playing.
Ok thank you all. No need to take a picture , it simply looks like the female of an earphone jack. AND It's not an AUX MIC input. I plugged in a MIC and it DID NOT work. Unfortunately the MIC on the front panel ALSO DID NOT WORK

I can call and hear the person on the other line clearly but I CANNOT BE HEARD

Although if I send touchtones / DTMF - it can be heard on the other end of the line

better study morse code to be able to use this. The support guy I talked to said it was an AUDIO AUX IN but I doubt that ofcourse because I tried plugging in an iPod and had no sound at all. I plugged my other audio device through the RCA AUX INs at the back and it worked.
@CKMCardesign - Thanks but what is a Can bus converter?

For message: "Warning! Do not watch to master!" don't WTF that early, you should connect the wire with "break" or "parking" to ground wire of the harness. You have to do this because once you connect break/parking wire the gound wire, the system will recognize that your truck is not moving but parking. They made this for your own safety warning massage.
Thanks. Apparently I have to ground the brown wire on the harness that says 'BRAKE". It's supposed to prevent the "Warning..." from appearing. I did not connect it and it hasn't appeared since hours ago. Maybe I'm lucky.
