okay, found myself at BN and the remote did not work. Plus the door keylatch also did not work.

Called my Indy. He told me it may be radio interferrence. He suggested that I keep trying the remote at least 30x. Sure enough, it did eventually open. I also ordered a new door keylatch (note: drivers license & registration are required to order this part) Remote is working fine presently And, Yes, I use both keys regularly to keep the battery charged.

Just thought I'd pass on what I just learned.

Also, if this should happen to you, get the window(s) down asap, if you get the remote to work. This allows you to test the remote without having to break into the car if it fails to unlock again.
