But this is not the case as you are saying it is on the decline. I just became a member here, and I am a post whore! lol. But I find it hard to be a verbal slut..... when know one else is talking. I would love to talk about X5's all day, but I would be talking to my self. Kind of a bummer, but I guess the higher price of a X5 is keeping a large portion of ppl away... compaird to a Honda civic fourm.

I agree it is a younger crowd. And yes, many of the younger members post a lot. But if I can generalize for a moment, I think they generally tend to post more about mods, and especially tints, wheels, and so on. I think they are less likely to work to establish a community here, due to both their shorter attention spans and alternate outlets such as social networking sites. That isn't meant to be a slam against youth, but is an observation reinforced by watching my kids (early 20's).
The community that was established here was due partly to a number of members meeting off the site, communicating in other ways than just through the site, and so on. There were articles written, How-To procedures drafted, and so on. I think QuickAG/B says it well. I hope the camaraderie continues here as the members change.
