My problems seems to be unique since I've lost all power to both the front AND rear wheels. In addition to that, the car can still roll in Park. Do you still think it points to the transfer case?
Your transfer case doesn't lock together the front and rear driveshafts, like a part-time 4wd truck does. It is essentially an open differential. So yes, I think your problem still points to the transfer case.

Posts on here that mention still having rear wheel drive with a front driveshaft problem are referring to the 2004-onwards models with the x-drive transfer case, not the earlier models.
