They likely won't work, I called a couple places and both looked up the 2011 by VIN and the $200 units won't work, the one's that work for the 2011 are $300 aftermarket (still made by the same company that makes them for BMW, but no one had them in stock) or $320 from tischer, so I picked them up there, local dealer prices them at $400. The TR ones look like the same ones you can get anywhere, the 433 mhz units for 200 bucks.

Apparently there is a cutoff date in 2010 when they switched, guessing it corresponds to the 2011 beginning of production date back in April. Call a dealer to make sure, they will look up your VIN and tell you if the older ones will work with your particular vehicle or not.
