I just tackled the first part of this today on my wifes 02. I got the shaft out and will be sending it to Tom.

I was curious about putting it back in and what that will entail. Let me know how it goes. Tom mentioned to me that you should be able to slide the trasfer case back without completely dropping it...

Can't wait for the reinstalltion!!
