What I tried 2 month ago was swapping the brown with blue/white. The red wire seem to be the switched 12vcc but no luck.

I guess you tried it and it works. What year was the X you tried it on? just for reference.
Can you please explain what the two wires do?
So, swap the blue/white with red in the white connector? red goes where blue/w was and vice versa?
