For those owners that have the gas strut that holds up your rear cargo/spare tire cover - are you experiencing a rattle?

I was one the owners that did not get the gas strut installed at factory and had the dealer put on (simple install). The problem is, now I have a rattle. Not all the time, but around corners, over speed bumps, pulling onto our driveway, etc. It is irritating.

I only just figured out it was the cover when I put a large and heavy item on the cover. The rattle was gone! The rattle was not present before the strut was installed.
