That however didn't stop me from downloading and using Garmin because iGo (the official GPS OS of the Hualingan) does not support the available map in my country hence I have no choice but to install a pirated Garmin Mobile XT application so that I can run the GPS. Garmin does not need to get mad at me because - It's crap! This is due to the low on-board memory of HL. Therefore I don't even bother turning it on becasue it screws up all the other functions of the HL when the memory has been maxed out. Most of the crucial Garmin capabilities cannot run due to HL's low on board memory. I still have to figure out how to increase the HL's RAM. (Help!!!)

My point is, the Hualingan was built for iGo, if iGo has maps for your country then use iGo. From the reviews I've read, it's a fairly good GPS OS.

(BTW, maps are free unlike the Garmin and iGo app. and can be downloaded/ used by anyone)

I had no idea that downloading the Garmin software was illegal, but thanks for the heads up.

I don't really have a problem going with the iGo, but I'm just trying to figure out which is the correct/updated version I should have for North American (Canada/US) Maps. I see a lot of different ones available, and I'm not sure which one to get. Some are as big as 3.1GB and the SD card I have (and that is recomended) is only a 2GB card.

I do not want to piss off anyone on this forum, but is it okay to ask where the iGo maps can be gotten from, or even purchased for that matter?
