Yeah, I just thing it's a stupid generalization that most people make that sport bike riders are a bunch of dangerous idiots. Generally its true or sportbike riders, and I can't help that, but Harley guys aren't much better either in large groups. I've seen them doin extremely ignorant things as well, but bad things are bound to happen when that much Viagra gets together on a large group ride. On the day that my friend died, there were four of us, ages 32 (Suzuki GXSR1000), 35 (Suzuki TLR), 54 (Suzuki GSXR) and 57 (Harley XR1200). And to top of your generalization of sportbike riders, the Harley guy, on top of riding a Harley and being the oldest there, was also a nurse. Bunch of stupid teenagers, ehh? I just find it funny that a fellow bike rider makes the same stupid generalizations that people in cars to in the statement you made.

30 years down the road when I reach 65, who knows what I'll be riding. I know that I sure as hell won't be having some old bag sitting on the back though, but that'd be for another topic.

Actual reports or not, statistically it only makes sense that there are more sportbike vs Harley/cruisers crashes since sport bikes themselves usually cost easily 1/3-1/5th the price, so naturally that means there are more of us than you. I generalize as well against most teenage (cause I can see their faces vs guessing who's under the helmet) Honda, Nissan, etc drivers compared to say a BMW driver driver because most of those cars are owned by teenagers (literally) because they're so cheap. I just figured that being a fellow rider, you biased opinion towards other riders would be so narrow...but then again, you are the epitome of a Harley rider. As for saying most bike fatalities are due to the rider vs the driver, that just shows that clearly you don't ride that much. I've lost track of how many times an innattentive driver made a lane change, pulled out to far in an intersection, didn't look AT ALL when pulling out of a driveway, parking spot, etc into me. I've got a handful of hospital visits and police reports in my last 11yrs of riding to prove that it wasn't my fault. If you meant that as saying that it's only sport bike riders vs you invicible and do-no-wrong Harley guys, once again, you clearly don't ride that much. Drinking...have you not seen the movies...you guys are once again the epitome of the terrible, biker gang, above the law, our sh&* doesn't stink type of riders. Pride in Harley itself was built on that history and carries on this very day. Drive by any hole in the wall bar and checkout the parking lot, I guarantee, you'll have more Harley's than sportbikes (if any) and I'm sure you guys aren't in there just playing pool and sipping on bottled water...I'm literally laughing that you just said that and basically narrowed it down to sportbike riders.

You're a Harley rider and you wave at people...you're the exception to the rule, so that doesn't break the rule. Don't wave back and the full hand/peace sign converts to a single finger real quick. An S1000RR is a BMW sportbike...one, if not the fastest production bike out right now. If only Harley made vehicles, you could completely your holy circle of awesomeness.
