As for the SRT8, this is the 2nd version of it, so I'm sure there are far more owners with experiences. The X5M being the 1st year out vs the SRT8 just being a larger displacement version means that they've probably worked out all the kinks already.
Naturally I prefer BMW's, but I'm not going to discount and slander other makes and models of vehicles that are just as fast or faster just because they're not a BMW...I appreciate them all as owning each one has it's own trade-offs. I make a decent living off the simple fact that BMW's aren't the most reliable. |

Yes, I have seen that thread.
I never said X5's were reliable. In fact, I warn many potential buyers about the problems I have experienced.
I was just stating that Jeep Cherokee reliability is garbage as well. I wouldn't buy either of them if reliability was one of my major concerns. Last I checked, indy Jeep mechanics were making money too.
