Just finished mine a week ago. Shaft came back from Tom, was perfect. Just an fyi, I did not remove my exhaust or heat shield, I worked around it. I used a drill bit to make a hole in the heat shield to get to one of the transfer case crossmember support bolts.

I also did not remove the transfer case crossmember support. I just loosend the bolts, its slotted to allow you to slide the transfer case back.

If you put the tranny in gear while the car is running, look at the front of the transfer case where the front driveshaft engages, and the transfer case hub is spinning, and usually accompanied by a horrible noise, this is the same issue.
