Congrats on your new X3 and welcome to the Board...I would not buy any ext warr. at this point of ownership: you have 4 years to see if you really are gonna love the car/keep it, and you have full tilt boogie warr. coverage for that period.
If you are really bored, hit search and read the latest litany of v.good info threads on Ext Warr. to be found on this board. Enjoy the car and come back and ask the ext warr question in late 2008: the "Ext Warr Field" may be very diff then.
There is absolutley zero reason for you to buy any Ext Warr at this time, imo.
