Just got my new X6 too. 2011 Week 40 built UK xDrive 40d fitted with the 8sp tranny, in Vermilion Red with Beige Nappa interior. It pulls like a train and I have little doubt that once it's fully run in it will be a very potent beast.
The only downside so far is the paint finish. Repairs are to be done to the paint on both 'D' pillars and to a 1" scratch on one of the rear doors. This should have been found at the VPC, but they missed it. BMW are loaning me another X6 whilst they fix mine.
Other than that it's a great addition to our growing BMW fleet
