before you do anything else drastic, take your oil, send it into blackstone lab and get an analysis. Some motors take awhile for everything to seat.. seen some not completely broken in until 25-30k. Just because it is burning oil doesn't mean it's bad unless it is like my old E60 M5 that burnt a quart every 400 miles. The only motors that I have not burnt oil from the get go for me are both my Ferrari's which were broken in very thoroughly on the bench at the factory.
