Update: I talked to my body man and he talked to his buddy that had the 'official' repair/diagnostic manuals. They said that since a new headlight was inserted post accident that I need to get them recoded by the dealer.

Of course that makes sense but at the same time doesn't make sense. I'm going to book an appointment today.
