How do I know if this is the battery, or if my engine is already screwed because of hydrolock?

When I turned the key, it made the clicking nosies, and all electronics and indicators worked.

After repeated attempts I drained the battery pretty much fully.

Is there something I can check for before attempting to jump start, so that I may avoid further damage if it is the CCV?

Advice please?
You will need to reinitialize the key fob, search for the threads here,I've done it twice myself in the past. All the keys need to be done sequentially.Otherwise your starts locking/unlocking and a spare one stops.
