This is for a 2006 X5 4.8is. I bought the Microfilter from a BMW dealership. The new one doesn’t have the plastic frame and it is about 1” longer.
I checked the part number (64319224085) on the box with realoem and it matches. Am I supposed to use the plastic frame from the old filter and cut the new filter to the right length???? Or is this a wrong part???? Anyone had a similar issue?
