Yesterday morning, I couldn't start my 08 X5. It just started and died right away. After a few times like that, I saw the message "Engine malfunction, Reduced power". Wait for a while and this time, right after started, I pumped the gas pedal few times then it was running. I went to BMW dealer right after that, they scanned the car and said did not see any problems. After the morning incident, the whole day was fine. This morning it happened again, I had to pump the pedal few times to get it running.
