Hi ive recently developed the same problem on my X, mine is an '04 3.0d. Started getting a shudder/wobbling through my steering wheel when braking over 50mph, once the car has slowed down to around the 40mph mark it die's down and stops. I was told it was the front discs but had those changed and the problem still exists, im guessing by other posts that i have read it must be the control arm but looking for clarification as to whether its the upper or lower control arm. Would be most grateful if someone could let me know.
