I would hope it would. I also have a W211. These have an aux battery in the hood, I got a warning message on my dash (big red battery picture and writing telling me to visit workshop) I assumed it was the rear main battery. I was wrong. The tech told me that Mercedes has that warning for aux battery but not main battery
I would think the main one was more important!!!!
